Dreaming about the fjords of Norway is a dream within a dream, as one of the most attractive is properly named the Dream Fjord. Forgive me the lyricism the fjord in a country of fjords will leave you amazed by how much you have traveled. It says an advertisement for a game of chance that we do not have small dreams.
The Fjord of the Dreams is Norway’s largest fjord 205 km from the time it merges with the sea to the small village from which its beginning is counted. It also impresses that it reaches a maximum depth of more than 1,300 meters, although the meters that really impress are not the submarines but the heights that surround us. A fjord is formed by the patient action of erosion and wear caused by a glacier a metaphoric river of ice in a narrow valley.
The passage of time measured in tens of thousands of years and the effect of time measured in changes in temperatures, winds, etc ended up turning the valleys into the high walls that limit these rivers, already fresh water. In addition, those walls almost vertical are a remarkable sight when we have the opportunity to sail a fjord in Norway.
The spectacular nature did not rest after leaving the fjords, occasionally we can see waterfalls that seek to leave the mountains and gravity causes them to fall from tens of meters, or even hundreds, before our eyes. Take a sandwich because at the end of the road the views of the Fjord of the Dreams will keep you entertained a good time. If you locate the metal box where a notebook is kept, you will find some lines that I wrote on it. If you wish your gaze to rest, you can approach to Vik where is the beautiful medieval church of Hoppers tad wood one of the few still standing in the country.
You can do it in the picturesque village of Bale strand where the house of the Cider is located. However, do not forget that in the Norwegian fjords the biggest attractions are those of the own Nature, that has separated the valleys with these enormous masses of water. The cars, and buses, cross them by ferrying from one shore to another of a fjord. These routes are the low cost alternative but do not substitute it, to do a cruise on the fjords. However even the Norwegians, whether from this area or from the capital, who were in the ferries I used, are absorbed in the wonder of the Norwegian fjords.http://www.travelerstrails.com/fjord-dreams-norway.htmlhttp://www.travelerstrails.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Fjord-of-the-Dreams-in-Norway.jpghttp://www.travelerstrails.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Fjord-of-the-Dreams-in-Norway-150x150.jpgPopular Placenorway travel, norwegian cruise
